"Born in May (Taurus) and raised in Italy - Foligno (Umbria). I grew up in a large family with a lot of passion for food, wine and entertainment. I studied at the Liceo Classico (Humanistic studies: Literature, Latin, Greek, philosophy) to go to the University of Perugia where I majored in Law. Moved to New York in 1997,and after few years in the travel business, I worked as a Regional Manager for Mionetto wines to manage the East coast,mid-west and Canada distribution. After the prosecco bubbles I moved on and joined Tenuta di Arceno(Tuscany) to be the brand ambassador in the USA first and the marketing and Italy sales manager for one year. Yes I moved back to Italy for one year but I missed NY so I decided to come back and leave the quiet and beautiful Tuscan countryside. Here I worked for Small Vineyard imports(an importer of family owned, small Italian wineries) as north east regional manager where I enjoyed dealing with smaller scale wineries.
