Growing up mostly in Germany and traveling Europe was certainly my first spark of interest to new experiences in food and wine. Escargot at the age of seven and German Riesling and beer as a teenager, is not the common story in every girls life, but surely was the gate to my continued path in the wine and culinary arena. Finishing my Bachelor Degree in Memphis Tennessee, I found a sweet little winery in the outskirts of Memphis, by the name of Cordova Cellars, that needed a tour guide…And here is where the roots were planted! After breathing in the air of a family owned winery for the first time (inside and out); I knew I had found my direction. I moved to Southern California and spent five years as a distributor rep for The Henry Wine Group. And, there was no denying the attraction to everything Italian! I soon found myself working for Winebow, Inc., where I was a District Manager for two years.... I am also an advocate of Hot Yoga and like to spend my “time-off” in my sweet little home town of Laguna Beach, California with close friends and family, especially my niece Tannin (her name is just a coincidence?).
